Ask Harry Whitney how he’s doing and you will probably get a “…tired and grumpy…!” response, delivered with a twinkle in his eye. He is solidly rooted in the foundational principles of horsemanship "from the horse’s point of view", and he is committed to what works for the horse. Students observe that change is possible; they are encouraged to build upon that foundation to further improve their relationship with their horses.
Harry is friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. He welcomes discussion and questions of riders and auditors as they discover that his principles, simply put, work!

Harry comes to the Mendin Fences Farm in Rogersville, TN every year around May and June. We host 3 different clinic formats, have lodging, trailer parking with electricity, stalls, turnouts, a covered and open an arena. Harry Whitney Youth Format Clinics
Harry has been developing a group of young students on horsemanship/training. This group of experienced young adults will host a clinic this year at Mendin Fences Farm in Rogersville, TN. The students will work clinic horses under Harry’s direction/supervision.
This opportunity offers TWO fantastic Benefits:
1. It is a GREAT opportunity to encourage our future generations in the principles of horsemanship “from the horse’s point of view”.
2. If you are working on a specific issue with your horse or would just like a tune up for riding season this is the perfect format. One of Harrys students will work with your horse for 4-5 days under Harry’s direction.
Modified Intensive Clinic Format
Riders observe as Harry student(s) work with each horse under Harry's direction/supervision for the first 2-3 days. During this time Harry will be sharing his principles with riders/auditors as the student works with the horse. Riders then ride for the last one or two days. Clinics are usually limited to 6 riders for a maximum learning experience.
